Surgery Prices in Thailand – GBP Price List
Compare estimated surgery and treatment prices in British pounds before planning your trip from the UK. Start with the treatment-only price, then add an optional 7- or 14-night Bangkok stay where available.
GBP figures are planning estimates converted from THB. The hospital confirms the final treatment plan and price in Thai baht after medical assessment.
Optional 7- and 14-Night Bangkok Stay Options
The treatment-only column shows the estimated hospital price for the selected procedure. If you choose a 7- or 14-night stay option, one shared stay cost is added once to your complete treatment selection.
Stay options are shown only where available. Your final treatment plan, required hospital stay and hospital price are confirmed after medical assessment.
Planning Surgery Travel from the UK
Planning surgery abroad involves more than comparing the operation price. Allow for the hospital consultation, the recovery period advised for your procedure, follow-up appointments and the timing of your return flight.
- Wait before booking non-flexible flights until the expected treatment date and recovery period have been confirmed.
- Ask how follow-up appointments, discharge information and medical records will be handled after you return to the UK.
- Check whether your insurance specifically covers planned treatment and medical complications abroad.
- Allow for a possible extended stay if the hospital advises that you are not yet ready to fly.
How Payment Works for Surgery Travel
For surgery travel arranged through Bangkok Health Service, the travel and stay services are paid to Bangkok Health Service in two instalments before departure.
The hospital treatment amount is paid directly to the hospital in Thailand after your in-person consultation and final treatment plan are confirmed.
This payment arrangement applies to surgery travel. Health checks, wellness services and dental treatment may use different payment terms, which are confirmed separately.

|---|---|---|
| Basic | $25,000 | £220 |
| Standard | $50,000 | £330 |
| Plus | $75,000 | £440 |
| Premium | $150,000 | £620 |
- Declare the planned procedure to any insurer before travelling.
- Check cover for complications, emergency treatment, repatriation and an extended stay.
- Confirm the policy before booking non-flexible travel.
- Keep policy documents, discharge information and emergency contact details available.
